Reflections is an awesome program our school takes part in every year, where students can submit original works of art based on a certain theme. This year's Reflections theme is "Look Within." Students may create an original work of art from six categories: visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production. Entries should be turned in to the office by October 25th. There will be more details coming home, but your students can start thinking about things they would like to do to participate.
Mrs. McMullin asked Sandy Wall to come talk to her class about setting SMART goals. Sandy’s daughter, Addley Wall, is in Mrs. McMullin’s class this year. Sandy taught the class to not be afraid to fail. She explained that you will fail more than you will succeed, but through hard work and dedication you can achieve anything.
