Annual Nana Claus Visit
Orchard Hills has a fun annual tradition of a visit from Nana Claus.
Donna Baller is a staff member here and she has many assignments working with students. She helps students in classrooms, she greets afternoon Kindergarten students who get off the bus, and she works with students in our “camp calm”, among many other tasks.

Cougar Paw Monthly Winners
You’ve probably heard your student mention they received a Cougar Paw. This is a program to reward students for good behavior, kindness to others, being helpful around the school, and being mindful of other people in different ways. Each morning, Mrs. Huntsman reads the names of all the cougar paw winners from the previous day. At the end of each month, names are chosen from each grade level from all those in the month who received a cougar paw and they receive a prize and get their picture taken.
Bus Drivers
The “Bus Driver” Award is an award given by Mrs. Huntsman at the end of the month. Each teacher chooses students who are leaders in class and working hard at learning and achieving academic goals. They receive a certificate, a treat, and get their picture taken. Orchard Hills has some fantastic Bus Drivers!
