We had a room full of Cougar Pride winners at December's cookies and chocolate milk party! Students can receive Cougar Paws from their teachers by being kind, helping, showing positive behavior, being a good friend, and through many other ways. When a child gets a Cougar Paw, they take it to the office and their name is added to the Cougar Pride Board. These kids were chosen from the board to come to the party. We are so proud of our cougars and the PAWSitive choices they make! We can't wait for our next party!
We had some great entries for Reflections this year! Here are our winners!
Music Composition: Ellie Barlow (Int.), Otto Burton (Int.), and Lucy Wear (Pri.)
Photography: Katelyn Nielsen (MS)
2-D Art: Ellie Barlow (Int.), Dagny Burton (Pri.), and Temprance Cassingham (Pri.)
Literature: Kennedy Anderson (Int.)

The Payson Junior High Choirs came and performed at Orchard Hills. They are all so talented, and their hard work was very apparent! Thank you for coming!
The amazing Cougar Choir performed their Christmas concert yesterday for the school, and last night for parents and other guests. They have worked so hard the past few months and they sounded great! The Cougar Choir is directed by Mrs. Kathy Kelley, and is accompanied by Mrs. Mary Robins. The choir is for students 3rd-6th grade. Contact the office if you would like to join the next session of Cougar Choir!
We had our annual Orchard Hills Gobble Off today! It is such a fun tradition, and is always very entertaining. :) One participant from every class was picked to gobble in the Gobble Off. They competed with their grade level, and the winner of that round went on to the K-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade competitions. Each class winner won a toy turkey, grade level winners received a trophy, and the 2 overall winners won a gift card for a turkey! Good job to all who participated! We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
First grade did a wonderful job on their program on Tuesday! It was so fun to hear their Christmas songs and poems!
First graders ate pie together in the hall to celebrate Thanksgiving!
