Sixth Grade Wax Museum

Submitted by riley.winward on Fri, 11/22/2019 - 16:42
Our 6th Graders enjoyed creating a Wax Museum for both the school and their parents.  They have spent a lot of time researching and becoming experts on people throughout the world who have had a positive influence.  Each student wrote a bio riddle and six students had the opportunity to share them in front of the parents.  These students were Michael Crossley, Alma Ugarte, Tyler Taylor, Addison Curtis, Eli Taylor, and Millie Hewitt.

The fifth graders from Orchard Hills went to the Central Utah Veterans Home on Friday to celebrate an early Veteran's Day with the men and women who have bravely served our country. The students sang some patriotic songs, visited with the veterans, heard about some amazing experiences, and gave each veteran an American flag pin that they made. They then went and hung up thank you posters on the veteran's doors. It was an amazing experience that won't soon be forgotten.

October Cougar Pride Winners

Submitted by riley.winward on Thu, 11/07/2019 - 22:02

We had a room full of Cougar Pride winners at October's donut and chocolate milk party! Students can receive Cougar Paws from their teachers by being kind, helping, showing positive behavior, being a good friend, and through many other ways. When a child gets a Cougar Paw, they take it to the office and their name is added to the Cougar Pride Board. These kids were chosen from the board to come to the party. We are so proud of our cougars and the PAWSitive choices they make! We can't wait for our next party!
