Our school library has become an amazing Mad Library Lab this year! Mrs. Alexander is the mad scientist behind all the amazing decorations, and students have brought in specimen jars of things they have collected and created at home. Click through to see some of those!

Mrs. Wheatley Reads with Mrs. Kelley's Class

Mrs. Kelley’s class had a special visitor!  Mrs. Wheatley, our school’s Literacy Specialist, presented a read-a-loud about Wordy Birdy to our class.  It was fun to hear her speak in the different characters’ voices.  What a fun lesson!  We learned how the actions of characters tell us about how they feel and think.  Thank you Mrs. Wheatley!

Apples and Pumpkins in Mrs. McMullin's Class

Last week, fall was in the air! Mrs. McMullin's class had fun making pumpkins for our classroom pumpkin patch and learning all things apple for Johnny Appleseed Day. Mrs. McMullin's husband (from McMullin Orchards) talked to the class about how apples grow and gave us each a delicious honeycrisp apple from his orchards. We love this time of year!
