Kindergarten Field Trip

Submitted by adrian.rowley on

In March the kindergarten classes went on a field trip.  They went to the Scera Theater and saw the play "The Cat in the Hat."  They loved it!  They had lunch at the park and played there.  Then they went to BYU Campus and the Bean Museum presented a live animal show.  They talked about animal differences and brought in a tarantula and a snake for the kindergartners to look at.  It was a fun day!

Ballet West

Ballet West Company came to Orchard Hills and they talked to the students about being fit and having good posture. They told about how hard they work but you can't see it on their faces. They try very hard to make it look easy. They also talked about good balance and form. They modeled what you would see in a ballet class and talked about different positions of ballet.

The sixth-grade classes at Orchard Hills presented Temples and Tombs to students and parents at the beginning of March.  It is always such a well done performance. Great job sixth-graders!  They spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and getting ready.  Even King Tut made an appearance!
