For the last few weeks the second grade classes and the students in the library have learned about and watched the Life Cycle of a Monarch Butterflies. The students would get so excited to watch the cycle and some were lucky enough to see as the butterflies came out of the chrysalis.
The first grade classes celebrated Johnny Appleseed Day. They made Johnny Appleseed out of raisins, applesauce, and juice. They had rotations with games and math. They also watched a Johnny Appleseed movie and sang apple songs! It was fun for all!
