Second Grade Olympics were fabulous!  They all looked great in their matching t-shirts.  The students also had fun participating in olympic events.  They even had opening and closing ceremonies!

Ruth Francom, Shirley Esquerra, and Kathy Buchanan-Childs are retiring this year.  They are amazing teachers and they will be greatly missed at Orchard Hills!   They have been a great asset to Orchard Hills.  Good luck to them!

The sixth grade orchestra has had a great year at Orchard Hills Elementary.  They performed twice for the school and at a district wide concert.  They have gone from having virtually no music experience to performing pieces such as Ode to Joy, Cripple Creek and Summer by Vivaldi.  Members of the orchestra include Abby Buck (violin), Gracie Christensen (violin), Taylor French (violin), Jacob Cooper (violin), Abby Neal (violin), Emily Dutton (violin), Callie Teemant (viola), and Elise Lisonbee (cello).

Museum of Natural Curiosity

The kindergartners went on a field trip to the Museum of Natural Curiosity at Thanksgiving Point.  What a fun field trip!  For most of them it was also their first time on the school bus and they were just as excited to ride the bus too!
