Cougar Choir will be starting on Tuesday, February 19th from 3:30 - 4:15! This is such a great opportunity for 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students. Permission slips should have come home with your student this week, but if you need another, please contact the office or Mrs. Kelley.
We had a fun, snowy day here at Orchard Hills! Thanks to Mr. Wall, Mr. Bingham, and everyone else who helped with the snow outside!
Kindergarten registration will be combined with Fall registration this year! More information will be posted as Fall registration gets closer.
For those of you who are interested in purchasing Spring pictures, they will be taken Wednesday, February 13th! To order, you can either go to my.lifetouch.com (Picture Day ID: UM338089Q0), or fill out the flyer that was sent home, and have your child bring it with them on the 13th!
We had a room full of Cougar Pride winners at the Rootbeer Float Party this week! Students can receive Cougar Paws from their teachers by being kind, helping, showing positive behavior, being a good friend, and through many other ways. When a child gets a Cougar Paw, they take it to the office and their name is added to the Cougar Pride Board. These kids were chosen from the board to come to the party. We are so proud of our cougars and the PAWSitive choices they make! We can't wait for our next party!
Miss Santaquin, Nicki Mortenson, came to Orchard Hills to talk with us about feelings and emotions. We learned that it is okay to experience different emotions, and that we can control how we react to those emotions. Thanks for coming, Nicki!
