We had our annual Orchard Hills Gobble Off today! It is such a fun tradition, and is always very entertaining. :) One participant from every class was picked to gobble in the Gobble Off. They competed with their grade level, and the winner of that round went on to the K-2nd grade and 3rd-6th grade competitions. Each class winner won a toy turkey, grade level winners received a trophy, and the 2 overall winners won a gift card for a turkey! Good job to all who participated! We hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Our Cougar Pride board has filled up for the second time this year. Many students were able to participate in the root beer float party yesterday. Way to ROCK Orchard Hills!
On Thursday, Nov. 15th, our 2nd grade classes visited the Santaquin Police Station, Fire Station, Library, America First Credit Union, and the Santaquin Chieftain Museum to learn about our community. We ended our field trip by performing our Thanksgiving program for the Santaquin Senior Citizens luncheon. We are glad to be a part of our community and it was fun to learn so many great things about the people here. Thanks to all who helped! (written by Mrs. Kelley)
The second grade classes did a Thanksgiving Program for the school and for their parents today! They sang songs about turkeys, being thankful, and getting together with family and friends. Each class also recited a poem. Great job, second graders!
The 6th grade went on a fun field trip to the Bean Museum and Classic Skating on Friday!
