Teaching Behavior For Parents

Mrs. Larsen (one of our Kindergarten teachers) is doing a study to finish her Master's Degree.  She needs parents to help, the course has six classes that will be held Dec. 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, and January 5th and 17th at 5:30pm at the schoolIf you can't make it in person you can do it online!  Just pick up a consent form in the office or email alene [dot] larsen [at] gmail [dot] com.  

Annual Turkey Gobble Off

One of our favorite traditions at Orchard Hills is our Annual Turkey Gobble Off.  Mrs. Hunstman is such a good sport and the students love that she dresses up as a turkey for the contest.  We sure have some incredible GOBBLERS here at Orchard Hills!

2nd Grade Program

Just a reminder that our 2nd Grade Program will be Friday, November 18th, 2022 @2:30pm in the gym for parents.  We hope you will come see all the hard work 2nd grade has put into their program!

Crystal Apple Award Winner

Congratulations to Mrs. Folkman for receiving the Crystal Apple Award!  The Crystal Apple Award recognizes educators for the outstanding work they do or a significant achievement in teaching.  We feel lucky to have Mrs. Folkman as one of our 5th grade teachers,  she is loved by students and staff alike for her upbeat personality and dedication to teaching her students in creative ways that keep them engaged.  Way to go, Mrs. Folkman!  Keep being the rockstar that you are!  

Santaquin Fire Safety Coloring Contest Winners

Fire Marshall Sutherland presented our Santaquin Fire Safety coloring contest winners with their awards and a fun gift bag.   We even had Mrs. Hammond, one of our 3rd grade teachers, join in on the fun.  Thank you Santaquin Fire, we look forward to this contest every year and we appreciate all they do to educate our community about fire safety.
