Utah State Board of Education School Meals Updates

What is happening?
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) waiver that provided free meals to students is expiring at the end of the school year in June 2022.

This means that school meals will no longer automatically be free for everyone and you will need to submit an application to qualify for free/reduced breakfast and lunch.

Nebo Free Summer Meals

Nebo is partnering with the Utah Food Bank again this year to provide free summer meals in four of Nebo School District communities. Fresh and free summer meals will be offered every Monday through Friday.

Who:     Youth up to age 18
What:    Fresh and Free Summer Meals
When:   Monday through Friday, from May 31 - August 12, 2022

4th Graders for the WIN!

Every school year, the fourth grade has hosted a 3 on 3 basketball tournament. The winning boys' team and the winning girls' team become one team to take on the teachers. This has happened for the past 4 years (except for 2020 when school shut down). This year 11 boys' teams and 8 girls' teams signed up. Each team, made up of 3 players, played in three regular season games after spring break. They were then put in a single elimination bracket. The two championship teams won a combined total of 12 games to make it to the teacher game.
