Congratulations to Mrs. Folkman for receiving the Crystal Apple Award!  The Crystal Apple Award recognizes educators for the outstanding work they do or a significant achievement in teaching.  We feel lucky to have Mrs. Folkman as one of our 5th grade teachers,  she is loved by students and staff alike for her upbeat personality and dedication to teaching her students in creative ways that keep them engaged.  Way to go, Mrs. Folkman!  Keep being the rockstar that you are!  

Fire Marshall Sutherland presented our Santaquin Fire Safety coloring contest winners with their awards and a fun gift bag.   We even had Mrs. Hammond, one of our 3rd grade teachers, join in on the fun.  Thank you Santaquin Fire, we look forward to this contest every year and we appreciate all they do to educate our community about fire safety.  

Does your child like to play chess?  Chess Club will be every Wednesday after school starting Nov. 9th and run until January 11th.  There are only 20 spots available so sign up quickly!  Permission slips are available in the front office.  

Our students enjoyed a fun assembly this week learning some cool hip hop moves and having a dance off, we even had a few teachers get in on the action.  We love the enthusiasm of our students and staff here at Orchard Hills!

We had a great day celebrating Halloween with lots of fun activities, cool costumes and our annual parade around the school.  Orchard Hills sure knows how to have a good time!

Just a reminder that picture retakes will be tomorrow, Oct. 25th, 2022 from 9:15am-1:15pm. 

Tabitha’s Way Jello & Canned Corn Drive–We will be collecting Jello (any kind or size) & Canned Corn to be donated to help provide Thanksgiving Dinners to families in need. The drive starts on October 18th and ends on November 3rd. Other food donations are welcome as well. Thanks for anything you can give!
