Miss Santaquin Shares Kindness Message

Shaelyn Waters is currently serving our city as Miss Santaquin.  Her platform for her year of service is "Have Courage be Kind".  She chose this platform because she had an experience when she was in her early years of Junior High where she was severely cyber bullied. She had to personally find the courage to be kind and rise above the bullying.  Shaelyn came and shared her message with our school and presented a challenge to each of the students to show kindness not only during Horton Hears a Who day (Tuesday) but every day.

Clark Planetarium Assembly

Clark Planetarium came and did a science assembly for the students.  They did several different science experiments to teach the students.  They taught about weather and used a wind tunnel and told students how to make one. They discussed lightening and fire tornadoes. It was a great way to learn about weather and science.  They also taught about static electricity, air pressure, and the size of the solar system.  Thank you for coming!
