This is my 19th year teaching
I grew up in Santaquin (not on the east side)! ha!
I am a mother of 6, 3 boys and 3 girls. Age ranging from 3-15.. only 240 more days until I have a driver. Yes, I am counting down!
I spend all my extra time driving around... that is driving to baseball, basketball, softball, dance, clogging, gymnastics and rodeos.
I enjoy anything that involves a lot of kids, chaos, and confusion. We spend our extra weekends camping and cattle ranching.
Joni Cheney
I graduated from BYU (attended U of U for three years, then BYU.)
This is my first year of full time teaching. I have been a long-term sub for the past three years.
I grew up in Bountiful, Utah with six brothers. I have no sisters and have always wanted a little sister for Christmas under my Christmas tree.
I Have four terrific children (two girls and two boys).I am going to be a grandmother in November. I adore my husband. He has been a great support to me as I have spent the last three years relicensing and trying to get hired. I don’t know what I would do without him. He spent many hours helping me to get my classroom ready for the first day of school.
I love to vacation with my family and visit historical sites. Quilting is my release from stress and I do yoga just about every morning. If I don’t, then I feel like the tin man who needs to be oiled.
My philosophy in life is . . . “Nurture a forgiving heart.”
