On Thursday, we had a super fun assembly to help kickoff our school fundraiser! Teachers performed skits of what to do (and what not to do) when gathering donations for our school, and Mrs. Collins, a member of our PTA, gave us information about the fundraiser.
On September 27th, our school will be taking part in the Cougar Fun Run/Walk/Jog! Students may raise money for our school through email, phone, or in-person visits, and are asking for a flat rate donation, as opposed to a "per lap" donation. 100% of cash and check donations go directly to our school, and will be used for field trips, books, and awesome events the PTA will do throughout the year for students and teachers. Your child should have brought home a packet with information regarding this event, and with supplies to use to collect donations.
We will also be holding a Silent Auction for the community along with our Fun Run on September 27. It will take place between 8:30 am and 3:30 pm. If you or your business would like to have a 3x5 banner hanging on the fence the day of the Fun Run for $100, please contact Kristin Collins at firstname.lastname@example.org!
