First graders did so great in their program. They helped us all get in the Christmas spirit with some fun holiday songs! Thank you!!
The Orchard Hills Orchestra has been working so hard. They performed for the school today and they did such a good job! They told us a little bit about what they have learned and played some songs for us. They even taught some of their friends how to hold a bow. Mrs. Drager is the orchestra teacher and she does a fabulous job. Thank you Mrs. Drager!
DARE is a program offered to all 5th grade students at Orchard Hills Elementary. DARE stands for Drug Alcohol Resistance Education and is desinged to teach students the risks involved with underage drinking, tobacco use and using illegal drugs. The point of DARE is to provide these students with the appropriate knowledge and skill set to make an educated & well-thought out decision when in the future they are confronted with drugs and alcohol.
Eileen is an amazing teacher and puts her whole heart into her work and students. She is here bright and early every morning and stays late working around the clock to make sure her students are getting the best possible education that she can give them. Eileen is always going above and beyond. Whether it be making stone soup with her students or doing the dang Elf on the Shelf in her class…her kids have something fun to look forward to each day.
Orchard Hills Cougar Choir performed yesterday for the school and for parents. They did such a great job! Thank you to Mrs. Kelley and Mrs. Knotts for their help!
